Examination Preparation
Our exam expert not only authored exam procedures for multiple areas, he developed the risk-focused exam approach used for all major review areas. BPS can conduct a pre-exam, identify areas needing additional attention, and assist with remediation to result in a quicker, smoother exam and improved results.
Independent Review & Model Validation
Don't blindly trust that your model produces reasonable results and your ALM program effectively manages risk; sleep soundly knowing they do. It's also a regulatory requirement, and for good reason. Over the years, we've found models that were inadequate for an institution's risk profile, were fed by bad data, or produced faulty calculations. In addition, we've identified many reporting errors (poorly built Excel spreadsheets have caused more bad decisions than any factor except inexperience). BPS will customize a review to your needs that can include policy, process, reporting, staff, and model validation with backtesting.
